Today they held a community conversation on waste management in Majengo, Kamukunji area where various stakeholders took part.
Group leaders that engage in garbage waste shared their experience on collection and disposal of garbage waste in the area.
They requested the Nairobi Governor to consider erecting garbage holding points to avoid being dumped in Nairobi River.
Due to a high number of used condoms, they insisted on incinerator to avoid children accessing them.
Before the end of the program, she utilized the opportunity to distribute her newly launched book on climate action dubbed “Eco Heroes” to children from the informal settlement.
